We’re here to provide safe, secure, affordable homes. Whether you’re looking for your first independent home, a long-term home to bring up your family, or a home where you can receive care and support to live as independently as possible.

Our core purpose is to provide a great landlord service to those who cannot afford to meet their housing need in the open market. We are dedicated to providing low-cost homes for rent and shared ownership.

We are committed to empowering people through tenant-led, co-operative and mutual housing – creating diverse neighbourhoods where each individual, family and community has the best opportunities to live independently.

Care and support

We are a major provider of care and support to adults and children, designed to enable people to achieve their full potential. Our services include nursing homes, residential care homes, extra care schemes, supported housing, community settings and care in people's own homes.

We have over 100 care and support schemes and deliver over 3,000,000 hours of care every year.

We help people to live independently, enabling our customers to remain independent, active, happy and confident members of their communities.

Homebuilding

We continue to invest in and build new housing developments, creating quality new homes and sustainable communities where people can enjoy happiness, health, and prosperity – because we know that these are the vital foundations for successful and fulfilling lives.

We are committed to providing new affordable rented and low-cost home ownership properties and with our Strategic Partner status with Homes England, we have plans to increase new supply to 1,000 new homes every year.

Regeneration

At GreenSquareAccord regeneration represents much more than building quality new homes that meet a range of needs. For us, it’s about investing in and shaping neighbourhoods to bring social and economic benefits. These things together are what make a truly great place to live.

We have a long-term vision for, and commitment to, sustainable regeneration which improves the quality of life for our customers and communities, and makes the most of the land and assets that we own.

We carry out a mixture of small, medium and large-scale regeneration projects across the South and Midlands that add real value.

The majority of the areas we work in already benefit from strong communities; when we regenerate, it is important to us that we both maintain and enhance these communities.

Successful regeneration needs a partnership approach throughout the whole process – from consultation to development to ongoing management; we work closely with local authorities and partners on our projects as well as actively involving both our existing and wider communities.

Community investment

We want GreenSquareAccord customers to benefit from opportunities and resources in their community. By supporting local initiatives, we hope to attract further investment into our neighbourhoods. In particular, we aim to encourage projects that promote financial security, opportunities for young people, wellbeing and community development.

Where possible we support locally-based community organisations or initiatives whose work benefits GreenSquareAccord customers and neighbourhoods.

Our priorities are reached through consultation with our customers and our colleagues. We also carry out annual impact assessment reviews of key projects to help us evaluate the difference made by our investments and to ensure future funding has the most impact.
