We have a respite care offer over the Christmas period

Being a full-time carer is a very demanding role and it isn’t always easy for carers to find time to relax or to seek extra support to lighten the load.

This is why we are offering Christmas respite care at a discounted price this December to make it possible for more carers to get a well-deserved break over the festive period.

Our Christmas promotion offers seven nights of respite care for the price of five at a choice of two dementia specialist care homes in the West Midlands:

• Farcroft, Telford
• Silver Birches in Chemsley Wood, Birmingham

Both schemes can provide short-term, tailored 24-hour care and support for older people who rely on daily care.

Our Head of Residential and Nursing, Michelle Barker, says: “Care breaks give carers the opportunity to take some time out to prioritise themselves and do things they would not be able to do on top of their regular day-to-day caring duties, all with reassurance that their loved one is receiving the very best care.

“Respite care is also a great opportunity for older people to meet new people, socialise and experience a change of scenery for a short time too.

“This is why we are offering a respite care offer at our Silver Birches and Farcroft schemes throughout December – we want to make respite care accessible to as many families as possible so everyone gets a chance to enjoy Christmas.”
