GreenSquare Homes’ site manager wins quality award
GreenSquare Homes has once again been recognised in the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards.
Site manager Scott Turner has been selected for a Quality Award in the first round of the 2021 awards for his outstanding management of our development at Hares Chase, in Cricklade, Wiltshire.
Being selected as one of the UK’s top site managers is testament to his commitment in ensuring excellent standards on site and the quality of construction he’s managing.
For more than 40 years, the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards have been the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry. Judging is a rigorous process, with each site manager assessed across six key areas: consistency; attention to detail; leadership; interpretation of drawings and specifications; technical expertise; and health and safety.
Scott is following in the footsteps of the previous site manager at Hares Chase, Martin Bance, who won the same award last year. “I’m really happy to have had this recognition,” he said. “Hares Chase is a flagship development for us and I’m proud of my part in delivering it. I couldn’t have done it without the hard work and dedication of my assistant site manager Connal Knott and all of our sub-contractors – as well as all the support from the rest of the GSH team.”
Quality Award winners all go forward to be considered for Seals of Excellence and Regional Awards later in the year.
Tony Knight, Operations Manager at GreenSquare Homes said: “I would like to congratulate Scott and his team on this well-deserved win. It reflects what a great job he’s done in his first year as site manager – and the company-wide commitment we have to delivering high quality homes, built to the highest standard.”
Hares Chase is a 70-home development in the historic town of Cricklade, Wiltshire. It offers a range of properties for homebuyers to suit a variety of lifestyles, from two, three and four bedroom houses for sale and shared ownership.
GreenSquare Homes is the development arm of housing and care group GreenSquareAccord. Profits from selling new homes are used to support growth to ensure the group’s ability to build more affordable homes for a range of customers across its operating area.
