We’re delivering new affordable homes in Wroughton, Wiltshire

Wroughton, Wiltshire

We are providing 31 new and high-quality affordable homes in Wroughton, a large village in North-East Wiltshire.

Our new homes, comprising one, two, three and four-bedroom properties, are situated in the larger Ridgeway Park development built by Bellway Homes and come with parking spaces and private gardens.

We are providing 22 homes for affordable rent and a further nine are being made available under a low-cost homeownership scheme.

Nestled in woodland on the edge of Wroughton village, this attractive development contains an equipped play area, open spaces and is located half a mile away from the nearest primary school making it the ideal setting for families with young children.

Denise Woolford, our Development Officer said: “We are proud to be providing 31 affordable homes in Wroughton which will allow families and individuals to live in the village who might otherwise be priced out.

“Our new homes range from single-bed maisonettes to four-bed houses, meaning that we are helping to meet a variety of local housing need.

“Incoming residents are well catered for with shops, pubs and schools within walking distance and all the amenities of a large town are available in Swindon, just a few miles away. “

There are various shopping centres in the surrounding area to the Ridgeway Park development including the McArthur Glen outlet mall and an array of restaurants within a 10-minute drive of the development, including Italian, Nepalese, and Spanish possibilities.

Ridgeway Park is less than 10 minutes’ drive south-west of Swindon town centre and is located around four miles away from junction 16 of the M4. Swindon train station, a little over three miles away from the development, offers a variety of services to nearby towns and cities, including Bristol, a 36-minute trip, and Reading, a 25-minute journey. Those commuting to the capital are also able to get to London’s Paddington Station in just over 50 minutes.
